Any solution to my ebay problem?

All my payments get "HELD" by paypal.

any way to bypass it? I tried to refund .01 to get them to release it but it didn't work.

I don't feel safe giving first to 0 rep ebayers with a 200$ transaction.

man I hear u on that pp is a mfer and ebay is rt there with them . I only use pp if I have to and ebay even less .but they will hold ur money for 21 days or till other person leaves feedback . start using cl and do f2f with local people in ur area

Thats odd, none of my payments get held. Do you have a credit/debit card registered with Ebay? Also do you have your paypal account setup with a verified address, and a bank account or credit card or both backing it up?

they do this to new accounts and unverfied accts . if u sell stuff over 200 bucks I think . I don't use ebay any more and only use pp when I have to .I stick to f2f from cl in my area .

I personally have never had any issues with paypal. I do not use it on ebay anyways.

If you combine paypal with ebay then you get screwed, however if you make all your payments to a credit card registered on paypal you will not have any issues.

What bite me was more paypal then ebay. I had my paypal (business account) that I had for 8 years tied to my website (forum) to accept donations and buy a subscription, and I used it to pay my server bill every month. Paypal did like they did here and t.o.s.ed the account, they decided that I was selling porn and and locked it for what they called 186 days. with 800.00 and change in it. I gave they instant access to any and all areas of the site to show them there was no porn being slung and we were in no way in violation of the T.O.S. they never even logged into the site, they just locked and closed the account.

The second time they fucked me I had a account (business) and it was tied to my other checking account. Someone hacked the paypal account spent 2600.00 on rapidshare, megashare etc sites, and i reported it instantly. They did nothing, but lock my account and tell me I was in violation of their T.O.S. and they had to investigate, which they said would take 186 days. My account and money they may get back would be locked for that amount of time. I went to my bank and they helped me quite abit. They put a stop on alot of it since I caught it so soon. But I still lost 1200.00 and paypal did nothing aside from closing my account.

I still have all the emails and everything from both incidents as I took them to my lawyer. I decided to just count my loses, walk away and never use paypal again. I could pursue but I don't have that kind of money for the lawyer. Eventually I would get it all back but it would need to be more then one person helping finance it. In other words unless you are independently wealthy paypal wins, you lose.

Ebay is just completely over ran with garbage, it is no longer a place to find good deals, now it is just all new stuff being wholesaled out. You may find a deal once in awhile, but I would rather just go to the mall or whatever anymore. Plus they are one in the same with paypal, support one you support both.

agreed ebay is just garbage everything is just way overpriced only buy cheap shit like a battery or charger for my laptop u know cheap replacement parts

the other thing about ebay that pisses me off is the whole, you can buy this for .99 but the shipping is 85.00 wtf. Just say its fuckin 75.00 an 10 to ship it. come the fuck on. all you are doing is making me open your ad look at your stupid shipping price and move on.

yeah the .99 cent thing is because ebay rapes you on whatever you sell for, but they don't take from the shipping price. so the fees would be little to none on that

I've been screwed by PP before... and i know that eBay and PP work together doing this bull shit holding funds.

Last 2 buyers that bought from me was all 0 rep new members which got me awake to the fact that im going to get screwed. BUT w/e imma just try to do one transaction. He claims hes new and shit, but could also be a scam.

I posted my phone on CL and some other bull shit haiti story. SMFH!

Yes we've all been screwed by paypal from time to time, they held all my funds until I could prove delivery of the item & i used paypal to ship the item so it was kinda a catch 22, I eventually closed my ebay & paypal account to this & still owe ebay about 400 bucks in fees and they will never get it & I told them that because I wasnt going to pay for auctions that all my money was getting held and the hassle. they dont have my SSN fuck FUCK EBAY & PAYPAL

they do that to all accounts with less than 100 positive feedback or less then 6 months old, if they leave feedback it clears but it sucks cuz the bastards dont bother leaving feedback 99% of the time

i have never had an issue with paypal and i've used it a lot, only had one issue on egay and that was the seller supposedly died and her husband couldn't figure out what was what, but it was only a couple of bucks so i just blew it off
