ty much sir. got it up and running. tested w/ a backup i dl'd and its good to go, extract another game now, but appears everything is good to go.

realize now that I have everything back together that i must have not attached the top part of the case back correctly. there's a bulge at the bottom of the wii (when its standing vertically), I assume this is nothing that will damage the insides if I leave it this way? Really don't want to risk stripping those screws if its only something cosmetic that will affect the case only.

glad you got that screw out. its cosmetic only, you can play the wii with it apart and it doesnt affect it. so i would imagine if you can stand to keep it that way, you'll be good. being me, i'd take it all apart and fix it, but i'm a neat freak. lol.

yea found a bigger driver

but where can I get another set of screws for the wii?? That way if I do strip them taking them back out, I can have a fresh set.

I can grab a used wii with everything minus wii sports but instead super smash brother brawl for $200....you guys think this is a good deal or what?

I want to hardmod it.

yea, I would think you could probably sell that super smash bros for about $20-$25 so you'd end up net paying $175-$180 for the system. I think that's a pretty decent price.

Is the homebrew channel supposed to automatically show once your wii is hard modded? and if not how can i get it?

don't think it makes a difference which side you put it on....but not sure.

yes your suppose to put it in. if u want to be certain of yourself, make sure the hole on the card board lines up with the one in the chip
