anyway, custel might be a jackass some times ( but arent we all ) but hes a good dude. This to me sounds like exactly what hero said, some dick at fedex went through the boxes, in one he found a bag of birdseed the other 5 blackberries. He put the seed in the blackberrie box because he knows that there more of value to someone then birdseed would be, and just went about his business.

prettyboy, did the box look tampered with at all when you found it at your doorstep?

He's right, you know. FedEx boxes (especially the one he received) have their own adhesive, like an envelope.

You can't reapply that once you rip it off.

Okay look here's the deal thus far..

-Prettyboy bought 2 shipments of 8310's from Custel.

-First one got there fine - on time etc. (5 8310's)

-2nd shipment was delayed a week on Custel's end but was overnighted on the Wed. 18th of June.

-Prettyboy posts this thread 5 days later (Mon. June 23rd) stating he received a box with birdseeds instead of 5 more 8310's.
Custel corrects him in his own thread and says he had ordered 6.
(Do 6 boxed phones REALLY fit in that size box? FedEx size "Large"?)

-Shipping label states the box weighed in at 5.8 lbs.

-A five pound bag of birdseed is gona weigh in at exactly 5 lbs.
Where did the extra 0.8 come from?
Do 6 boxed phones weigh in at 5.8 lbs?

-Packing slip says Custel's real name but is it his signature/handwriting?
Do you think you could have compared with your first packing slip sent out with your first package?
That little plastic baggy with shipping info can easily be swapped out and placed onto another box since FedEx drivers carry supplies.

-4 days after this thread is made, Prettyboy files a chargeback thru PayPal - causing Custel to lose out on 6 8310's and $1,400.00

-Prettyboy states that it was Custel's fault for not getting a hold of him immediately AFTER dispute was made.

+1 you can't close their boxes once you open it, you nearly need to rip box open and if you are successful getting it open w/o destruction the seal will not stick properly again, showing tampering!!

the recipient 'not' contacting sender makes things very odd :imo:!!

also i really doubt the fedex driver swapped you out for bird seeds

Come on get a fucking grip fed ex and ups steal shit all the fucking time. They all carry supplys with them thats what makes it so easy to steal. I worked part time at UPS several years ago and the drivers stole shit all the time. So get you head out of your ass and get a grip.

If there's one thing to learn from this, Don't get involved in threads like this to stand up for someone. Almost everyone who posted in the thread, including myself, stood up for Custel and look what we come to find out. Now we all look like assholes for standing up for someone who most likely was guilty.
