alright im currently down the shore in brick nj...and the range in NJ that rents pistols is actually not even 5 minutes from my familys house....

and i won last night at AC...so i had some cash to blow

..so me and my cousin went there..neither of us have ever shot pistols before and he had never even shot any type of gun (the perfect person you want to go with you lmao)

i wanted to rent the usp compact but it wasnt avaliable, so we rented a sig sauer p229 .40 and a glock g21c .45....we shared a booth and shot both of them taking turns

man...the .40 had some fuckin kick........but after a few mags i was doing nice with it....the .45 was nice, less snap then the 40, partly because of the compensated barrel design, but i read a lot of places that .40 kicks harder then .45 even..

i think i did better with the .40 sig though overall...we had 4 bullets left and i loaded them into the mag for a fresh target...at 15 yards i put 3 on the bullseye in a 2 inch group and one was stray about 8 inches...not bad for the first time i think

the glock was nice except for one thing that happened that made me uneasy...1 time when i put the mag in, i slide it in a little hard....and the slide racked itself without me hitting the release.....not something id like to happen.....

$130 total for us both combined....2 guns, 200 bullets, 2 hours, 10 targets, loads of fun...

man im looking forward to shooting that fucking usp...

Yeah I didn't say that right... He tried to rob the store, failed, and when the police showed up he was pointing it at them and they put him down.

yooo..went to the range yesterday....

i kept hearing this loud as noise..im like wtf gun is that....

it was just me and another guy so i look over and i yell at him "what the fuck you shooting .50 cal?" he's like yep...LOL....so few minutes later i walk over...chromed out deagle on his bench..im like mmiiiiingggggg....he's like you wanna take a shot? ..

i couldn't resist ...picked it up fully loaded..weighed about 6 pounds i say...hit 1" southwest of the bullseye....recoil wasn't as bad as i thought because of the weight of the damn thing...it was cool though..he also had a .40 with a laser (didn't see it close wanna say glock subcompact like phinger has) and he had an ar15....he told me he gave up drinking so this is his new hobby...i was happy for him

I have the Springfield XD40 and just FYI there is ALOT of recoil. I like the way it looks and all, but I either want to drop down to a 9mm or something with less recoil. I can't imagine the recoil on the 45acp. Very good gun though IMO.
