Yeah looks like it's double locked. I just didn't want to use the ic402 I got from sprint. Nothing wrong with it but I'm used to the all business feel of iXXX phones. Thanks for everything else though.

What string modz? What you want them changed to? The theme has to be done via the theme uploader w/ the patch. I can do anything else just let me know

Direct Connect is not moto talk but I added it. You need software thats not allowed to be discussed to unlock. You can sesarch with google to find what u need though.....I did turn the subsidy lock off though. You still need the other software to have it fully unlocked......

Basically any phone can be unlocked including the i860.

To answer your second question it will work. No unlocking will be needed.

Thank you for the reply. I feel better about not having to buy a new phone. I'll have to start researching Boost now. I think the $1 a day iDen is a pretty good deal as much as I use it. Won't need the phone service though.

if you made a backup of your cp (#1rule!).....you can take your good cp and rewrite it....if that dont work, download latest update, take your good cp & put it in the backup folder of the upgrade utility, and check the box that says "check here if u are attempting to upgrade a phone that does not power up"...and try to run upgrade again...this is assuming that you have attempted to alter your codeplug with the appropriate software (dont think im supposed to say wat it is)....if not, and u have no idea wat im talking about, go to motorola website and download the appropriate upgrade utility for ur phone and run that....that should fix it...if u need anything, hit me up, ill take care of ya...my email is dizzyk9z@aim.com...good luck

try using the utility upgrade for your phone and it just might work,if not fl@sh your phone with another phones software then use l@b to change the imei back to match yours then unlock your phone to overcome the sensitive feild mis-match that is created by the foreign backup cp:band:

I have attached a copy of someone else's codeplug. I don't have a copy of mine, so I found this copy, and from what I understand, I just need to change the S/N and IMEI numbers. Can someone change this codeplug to the numbers/letters below? Model number and provider is already correct.

S/N: 364TGQ20LT
IMEI: 000510765300580

I did all the research I could. I got RSS Carrier Depot and Lab. Depot wouldn't save the edited codeplug, and Lab wouldn't open properly. Basically, I went to update the phone's software (I know, stupid me) and I didn't make a backup. The software I used didn't automatically make a backup of my cp. The update process failed in the middle of the update process, which left me with a missing cp. So after much researching, I found the attached cp with the proper model number and proper provider already in it. I need the help of someone who can edit the s/n and imei and save it to the codeplug. I also read something about a "checksum", but you guys are the experts, so whatever you know needs to be done, please do modify it the proper way, so it will be usable on my phone. Thanks in advance.
