I just got a letter in the mail title "Copy right infringment , requesting that cablevision kill my connection because i downloaded shrek 3 and dejavu property of Paramout pictures" Now that the net nuet bill was pass every internet provider excluding verizon is obligated to give out your information to any law inforcement body when requested. Ill post scanned pictures of the letter i recieved in a minute.

Also just so you know its 5k per song if the RIAA catches you on Limewire wich is becoming alot more easier now with the new bill that was passed again obligates your ISP to give out your information to any law inforcement body.

well on the limewire site it says to be careful. they shut down WinMX and another P2p company. Ares is pretty top secret sorta. they are good and the speed for me stays at about 115 kb per second

first of all proxy servers will work to an extent but the RIAA will see your using a proxy then all they do is follow the trail and they get your MAC ID which you cant spoof best thing to do is use Newsgroups or something along those lines its to hard to track people and files i love mIRC personally

also the reason you cant display some pages with proxy servers from certain countries is because those IPs are censored for some content there goverment calls questionable

you didnt have to remove it, but download a copy of Ares and setup port forwarding for it and enable sharing and it works beautiful.

bearshare is like a sister of limewire, both ran off the gnutella network, I recommend using it only if you have a DSL or cable connection, and remember to forward the ports in windows firewall and ur router/modem

well unlike limewire, Ares can connect to over 9000+ peers and hosts,
limewire only downloads from 10 hosts, while Ares downloads from i think the most i ever connected to was 41 peers for an mp3.

and it has songs that limewire doesn't have!!!
